Terms of Service

By accessing or enrolling in The Struggling Readers Program, you agree to the following Terms of Service. These terms form a legally binding agreement between you and the program operator.
Services Provided
The Struggling Readers Program provides an online professional learning delivered through digital courses. All instruction, materials, and resources are accessed online and progress is structured to make the learning the most logical.
The program does not include live classes, group sessions, or real-time instruction. Progress through the course is self-directed.
Participant progress may be monitored for administrative, technical, or support purposes only. Monitoring does not constitute individualized coaching, evaluation, or instructional feedback unless explicitly stated.
Course Access and Platform Use
Course content is hosted on Instructure Canvas, a third-party learning management system.
After payment is processed, course access is created using the email address provided at checkout. Participants will receive separate login instructions once access has been set up.
Participants are responsible for ensuring that the email address provided is accurate and accessible. Delays caused by incorrect or inaccessible email addresses are not the responsibility of the program.
Access to the course is granted for individual use only. Login credentials may not be shared, transferred, or used by any other person.
The program is not responsible for temporary service interruptions, outages, or technical issues related to Instructure Canvas or the participant’s own internet access or devices.
Educational Purpose and No Guarantees
The course content is provided for professional learning and educational purposes only. While the program is research-based, it does not guarantee specific instructional outcomes, student achievement results, certification, or professional advancement.
Participants are responsible for how they interpret and apply the information provided.
Payments
All fees are listed in Canadian dollars unless otherwise stated and are due at the time of purchase. Payments are processed securely through the website’s payment system.
Refunds and Cancellations
Refunds and cancellations are governed by the program’s Refund and Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms of Service.
Nothing in this agreement limits any consumer rights that may apply under Canadian law.
Intellectual Property
All course materials, including videos, written content, downloadable resources, and assessments, are the intellectual property of The Struggling Readers Program.
Materials may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, shared, recorded, or resold in any form without prior written permission.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Canadian law, The Struggling Readers Program is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use course materials or services.
Modifications to Services or Terms
The program reserves the right to update or modify course content, pricing, platform delivery, or these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will apply prospectively and will not affect existing enrollments.
Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Canada and the applicable provincial laws.
